Initially Margriet sang and played recorder and percussion, but she now also plays melodica, glockenspiel and ukelele. <\/p>\n<p>Mixing and matching instrumentation, they can give each song its own character. \u2018<a title=\"On repeat Missing you\" href=\"http:\/\/www.twodoorsdownband.com\/?page_id=203\">On repeat (Missing you)<\/a>\u2019, really lends itself to the melodica, with its muddy overtones. \u2018<a title=\"Boy\" href=\"http:\/\/www.twodoorsdownband.com\/?page_id=195\">Boy<\/a>\u2019 (a wedding song from the perspective of the \u2018best man\u2019) is \u2018dressed up\u2019 using claves.<\/p>\n<p>What strikes people most about <strong>Two Doors Down<\/strong> are the harmonies and the wide range of\u00a0themes. For example,\u00a0there&#8217;s a song about <a title=\"Sorry Dolly\" href=\"http:\/\/www.twodoorsdownband.com\/?page_id=211\">Dolly the Sheep <\/a>(\u2018Sorry Dolly, you are not unique\u2019) and one about nomadic communities (\u2018<a title=\"Poor world\" href=\"http:\/\/www.twodoorsdownband.com\/?page_id=192\">Poor world<\/a>\u2019). <\/p>\n<p>The songs are not only fun and interesting to listen to.
